| What is PV8 Sponge?
In 2012, Super Cool Products started to work on its 3rd generation of double roller PVA mop. One of our goals was to improve PVA Sponge; or, replace it by creating a new cross-linked polymer for a hybrid sponge. In April 2019, we started to aggressively pursue the development of a new replacement sponge. It was soon trademarked "PV8 Sponge"!
PV8 Sponge replicates the wicking ability of PVA Sponge by using advanced PU prepolymers during manufacturing. Unlike PVA sponge, PV8 sponge:
• Does not get hard when dry and always stays soft. • Can be molded with holes, grooves, or odd shapes without forming a skin on molded surfaces. • Does not have extensive curing time, washing, or rinsing as required in the manufacture of PVA Sponge. • Is manufactured as an environmentally responsible product requiring little water, energy, and eliminates all waste solutions. • Can be manufactured to bond one or more special agents to the PV8 Sponge, including: soap, anti-microbial, anti-bacterial, and anti-mildew or mold.
